Recessed 7,000 Lumen LED Work and Area Light – Fixed Position

The FT-WL-X-9 is a high-output, 63-watt LED work light engineered specifically for fire service applications. It meets the minimum NFPA illumination requirement for a single 12V LED aerial tip light under the 2016 NFPA 1901 standard, making it a reliable solution for critical task and area lighting.

This fixture features FireTech’s patented intelligent Active Thermal Management LED driver, which prevents overheating in all operating environments. Like all FireTech products, it is backed by the industry’s only limited lifetime warranty.

FireTech Configuration for the Fire Service

The FireTech configuration is a specialty product line developed exclusively for the fire market by HiViz. These fixtures are tested by firefighters, proven in real-world field deployments, and designed to solve operational challenges faced on the fireground.

High-Output Work Light Performance

The FT-WL-X-9 delivers measurable light output comparable to fixtures commonly advertised as producing up to 15,000 lumens in the fire industry. Its recessed, fixed-position design makes it ideal for installations where light output is required straight out from the mounting plane.

Recommended Mounting Applications

Suggested mounting locations include under aerial platforms, areas where straight-out illumination is required, and aerial installations exceeding 75 feet in height. For taller aerials, 25-degree spot optics or FireTech combination optics are recommended to maximize usable light output.
