Undercarriage Lights

The FT-AQX Undercarriage Light is engineered to perform in the harshest environments and is rated for submersion up to 100 feet. True to the FireTech name, this fixture is built to withstand any mounting location and the abuse that comes with daily apparatus operations.

While fire trucks are often equipped with scene lights, brow lights, compartment lights, and work lights, the undercarriage area is frequently overlooked. NFPA 1901 and 1917 require adequate illumination at ingress and egress points of the apparatus, making undercarriage lighting a critical safety component. The FT-AQX delivers dependable ground-level illumination exactly where it’s needed most.

Designed by firefighters for firefighters, the FT-AQX is built to handle the inevitable bumps, scrapes, water exposure, and debris encountered in real-world service. If a warranty claim ever comes in, chances are the incident already made the evening news.

Dual Red and White Output Functions

The latest FT-AQX model features dual red and white LED output, allowing departments to easily switch between colors depending on operational needs. Available in black or white housing, the fixture can operate as a steady flood light or as a flashing light when paired with an external flasher.
