The Bin Fire Training Module simulates a realistic waste bin fire scenario for live-fire training evolutions. Designed to help firefighters and trainees practice fire extinguisher selection and suppression techniques, this module provides an authentic training response when used with a flame generator system.

The module attaches to the Flat Computer Screen Module, effectively converting it into a waste bin fire prop when used in conjunction with the appropriate adapter and flame generator.

Purpose & Function

This training module allows trainees to:

• Recognize and classify a waste bin fire scenario

• Select the correct fire extinguisher for the situation (water spray, water + additive, or foam)

• Practice appropriate extinguisher techniques such as spraying agent onto the fire or smothering flames safely

By combining the bin module with other modular components and a flame generator, instructors can replicate a controlled waste bin fire for hands-on training and skill development.

Required Installation Components

To operate correctly, this module requires:

• Flat Computer Screen Module (SKU: V90.80.071) – attaches directly to this module

• Appropriate Adapter (e.g., PYROS 3 Adapter – sold separately)

• Flame Generator (such as PYROS 3 or other compatible LEADER systems)

This module does not include the adapter or screen module and must be used in combination with them for proper operation.

Compatibility

Flame Generator Compatibility:

• Designed for use with LEADER flame generators when used with the appropriate adapter (e.g., PYROS 3)

Module Compatibility:

• Must be installed on a Flat Computer Screen Module as its base

• Requires the proper flame generator adaptor for mounting above the flame source

This module is not a standalone training item and must be installed with companion components to function correctly.
