The Aerosol Can Explosion Fire Training Module simulates the dangerous and unpredictable explosion of pressurized aerosol cans exposed to fire. Designed for live-fire training evolutions, this module allows trainees to safely observe and understand the extreme hazards aerosol containers present during structural, industrial, and vehicle fires when used with a compatible LEADER flame generator.

This module creates a sudden explosive fire effect to reinforce situational awareness, hazard recognition, and safe firefighting tactics in environments where aerosol cans, spray containers, or pressurized products may be present.

Purpose & Function

This training module provides firefighters and trainees the opportunity to:

  • Identify the risks associated with pressurized aerosol containers in fire conditions

  • Understand explosion behavior caused by heat exposure to aerosol cans

  • Improve hazard recognition and scene safety decision-making

  • Reinforce safe positioning, distance, and suppression tactics

  • Experience realistic explosive fire behavior in a controlled training environment

The Aerosol Can Explosion Module is designed as a high-impact demonstration tool, emphasizing awareness and safety around secondary explosion hazards.

Required Installation Components

To install and operate correctly, this module requires:

  • Appropriate Prop Adapter (model-specific, sold separately)

  • LEADER Aerosol Can (required for proper simulation)

  • Compatible LEADER Flame Generator (such as PYROS 3 or other supported systems)

This module does not include the adapter, aerosol can, or flame generator and must be assembled with the required components for proper and safe operation.
