The SMOKE 5 produces a consistent, visible volume of training smoke, enabling responders and trainees to practice procedures in environments without using open flames.

Purpose & Function

This smoke generator provides training officers and emergency responders the ability to:

  • Simulate low-visibility smoke conditions safely without actual combustion

  • Conduct search-and-rescue, evacuation, and ICS drills in controlled environments

  • Demonstrate smoke movement and layering for tactical decision-making

  • Rehearse hose techniques, victim location, and door entry procedures

  • Enhance realism in fire behavior and emergency response training

The SMOKE 5 is ideal for facilities training, fire academy drills, building evacuation exercises, and multi-agency simulations where realistic smoke conditions are required without live flames.

Models & Required Components

The SMOKE 5 has two configurations based on electrical supply:

  • SMOKE 5 (110 VAC) – Standard North American electrical version

  • SMOKE 5 (220 VAC) – Dual-voltage version for international or higher-power applications

Both versions require a compatible smoke fluid specifically formulated for training use. Smoke fluid containers and hoses are sold separately.

This unit does not include mounting hardware or external controls and must be installed and operated according to manufacturer instructions.
